We found a perfect spot to park that was just close enough to handing our car right over to some group of Pacific Rim gangsters to strip and sell for parts before heading off for a walk around one of the most incredible hilltops on earth. Imagine the cap of a picturesque mountain simply sitting by the edge of the sea. I cannot describe it to be honest with you, there is nothing like it anywhere else. Let's just say we only got 'so far' up the side of this hill to climb "around" it and that it took an hour just to make struggle back down again to finish the lap. We were so close to the ocean that we spent half the walk drenched! The view was unheard of! As soon as we were done we dipped in the water, we ate, we made out, we went home. What a great day for a hike... And having Asia Carrera threaten to knock you into the ocean!

Chris Holt, another friend of mine, has passed away. Chris grew up on the opposite side of Newton Falls, Ohio that my brother Jeff and I did. His father was a cowboy of sorts. A Vietnam Vet sort of cowboy who would let off machine guns in front of the kids on weekends. Big fun. Anyhow, my brother hung out with him until he moved away. When or where to, I can't remember, but it was probably around 8th grade. So, 20 years later I am handing my driver license to a bouncer at a nightclub in Vegas and the guy asks me, "Are you Donny Lemmon?" I of course said I was and then we began talking so I could sort out why he called me Donny instead of Don. Here, he had grown up of course, and moved with his mother to Vegas, fairly near where I lived, and, yadda, yadda....
We began hanging out together and I liked the guy. I never really got to know him as kids, but I liked him this time around. I even hired him to format my sites, create my original log book which sold for a while and yadda, yadda... I get married and suddenly he turns around hitting on my wife. Not directly but indirectly at first until it got obvious and made everyone involved uncomfortable. I talked to him about it in private about things and he just wouldn't get over it. He kept calling, trying to talk to her, pulling her aside at the gym
It was rough on all of us. As I said, I liked him but here was a guy who looked up to me, and despite being a good 200 pounds overweight, I never teased him about it, and he was ruining a friendship for who knows what reasons
I am not looking to attack a dead man here, let's keep talking
One night... He shows up drunk at my house one night. He pretty much confesses his love for my wife and tells me he wants to fight for her. I took him by the ear and led him outside asking him to never come back. I let him know I would be by to pick up my work files but he kept dusting me off. Eventually I lost my patience. I finally did get everything from him but it wasn't over. I got a call from him late another night. He was in jail and he couldn't afford bail or the impoundment of his truck which his mother needed for work. I was a bit of a jerk and told him he had to sit in jail but I did take his mother to get the vehicle and I even paid for it. When he got out, that is when I received my long lost belongings. Even then it took him several months to make it happen. He tried to apologize for everything but I was so fed up, I could have cared less. I feel like a complete jackass now. Word has it he was depressed over all that for a long time too. He was apparently over it when he died but he and I weren't talking so I will never know for sure.
Folks, I suppose I am showing a human side here you weren't prepared for. Thing is, I should have never ended things poorly no matter how bad his behavior was. He apologized, probably meant it, but I was too selfish to accept. If you are doing the same thing to someone you know, mend the fence. If not, you too may feel like a jerk.

Asia had this thing all month where she wanted the toothpaste we use left on the right side of the sink. I can't do it, I just can't. You see, I open it with my left, and I brush with my right, so it's easier on the other side, for me that is. After she gave up trying to change me because its just a natural habit, I decided to begin putting it on the right side again to please her anyhow. I did not make the change in spite, I didn't see I was finally doing it. The change took time. However, now, I move the stuff back and forth to spite her in a funny way and sometimes all the way over to the other sink across the room. It drives her bonkers but she laughs. I will quit when she actually gets mad. I love her. I suppose the lesson is to support your mate's silly habits, they do love you and change, if necessary, takes place in time, not on command.

I have just worked out a routine for a professional fitness competitor that has been suffering from some rather common ailments amongst athletes in her field. She was over training and under nourished:
"Currently I am cutting back on cardio to 2 days on, 1 day off and only 45 min per session. I was doing 1, 45-60 min session, twice a day before with one day of only one session. I usually train 5-6 days a week, 3 in the a.m. and 2 in the p.m. The past week I have taken it easy though due to fatigue."
I would instead ride the bike for 30 minutes a day, consistently, and train at the same time of the day, consistently, meaning weight sessions too. The body sets it's recovery times, rest, etc, on a schedule, and so should you... I would also train at full speed only 3 of those days per week for cardio, reading level for the others....
"My diet is a lot more balanced now with everything from fruit, protein, complex carbs and veggies. For over a year it consisted of 0-40 complex carbs a day, if that, and nothing but fish or occasionally chicken and broccoli with no added salt to anything. I was starting to gain weight even eating next to nothing and that's when I went to get tested... I thought the people who had done my nutrition knew what they were doing but they were non natural athletes and I guess dieted me as such and in a very unhealthy way."
Your metabolism works against you to save the body from wasting away. It happens commonly to obese people who swear they do not eat a lot or that the Atkins diet failed them... They just need healing plus additional and better food selection... It's scary what happens before a person catches on... You should allow yourself 2 meals with carbs a day, maybe 3..... Only one of the meals should be of grain starches, another, fresh tropical fruits, not canned... And yams, peas, etc, those are good starches by the way.... Grits, oats, rice, well... Sometimes they suck the liquid from the intestines, which is liquid necessary to absorb nutrients, thus the dip in energy when eating them...
"Unfortunately I don't have the same thing everyday so it is hard for me to give you an exact outline. My current nutritionist says this will help with my hormonal levels. My testosterone is currently double what it should be and my LH is off balance, my cortisol is high and though I drink 1 1/2-2 gallons of H2O a day I am reading dehydrated."
1800 calories a day divided equally over 6 meals, which is 300 each, will be optimal for you... If that isn't enough, try 333 six times a day then... But eat on schedule, and eat clean... Essential fats are to be taken with proteins help to digest them which in turn makes sure you aren't dehydrated. These fats also heal the liver so the body regulates it's hormones. I know the info I gave you here is basic, but if more people resorted to basics, they would be tip top shape in no time! So many people are calling themselves experts and trying to make basic advice sound so complex to appear to be onto something.... But they aren't... They are educated by magazine ads and propaganda....

In regards to the use of soy in my Complete Protein Powder, though soy proteins contain estrogenic compounds, it appears that they are tissue and sex specific. Several studies found that soy proteins, unaltered, not genetically modified (GMO) and all natural, had zero effects on the reproductive hormones of men and balanced those evenly in women. All the measures you could imagine were taken in the preparation of my product to avoid BioTech or otherwise mutant ingredients, I assure you. I plan on using this powder on my baby (whenever we have one) so you can take my word on it.
Furthermore, the scientists found no difference between male animals who ate soy protein that contained the plant estrogens hyped by the media and those who ate soy with the estrogens removed (which is technically using processed or genetically altered goods). This lead researchers to conclude isoflavones improve cardiovascular risk factors without the apparent deleterious effects on the male reproductive system...
~ Notes used were submitted by a KNOW HOW client named Dr. Wilhelm Schnader in Europe and I thank him.
I have answered all my mail for the day now and am looking at what I need to work on tomorrow. Asia was up working on something until 5:30 a.m. Once she came to bed we immediately got back up to grab snacks. I had a couple tablespoons of protein powder that was left. She had cheese. We stayed up giggling until 6:30 a.m. but I woke up at again 7:10 a.m. And here I am. Early bird gets the worm (and hopefully a mid day nap too)!

Protein supplements are one of the most popular food supplements available. Along the same lines, meal replacement supplements such as MET-Rx® or Slim-Fast® are recommended to be eaten in place of several meals. The main benefit they supposedly offer is one of convenience, together with a controlled portion size, they really are a wonderful solution to snacking problems. Compare a typical 250 calorie meal replacement supplement to a giant bowl of cereal or a king-size hamburger and you'll realize they're a very easy way to slash hundreds of calories from your diet but do they nourish you? Not all of them.
Although they provide carbohydrate, protein and some fat, meal replacement supplements and protein bars are bad because they contain artificial colors, sweeteners, corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, modified starches and other GMO as ingredients. Read the labels, compare ingredients, most are the same things you find in candy and cake mix. How is that good for you? The problem as a consumer comes in deciding which product you should use but that is solved, yes, by reading the label rather than taking someone's word for it. Magazines aren't really much help. They survive on advertising dollars and are reluctant to print anything that will discourage potential advertisers especially when the advertiser and the magazine owners are one and the same people!
What we have for you is plain and bland because it contains no frills except a pure and complete protein powder. We challenge you to compare. Our secret and precise ratio blending of whey, rice and soy proteins are the real deals and the reason your muscles fill so full after using this product. We refuse to use cheaper sources that have hydrolized contents, tar, ash, etc., nor anything else that you read about which are otherwise bad for you despite the sales rep claiming it is not.
